How to: Get Motivated to Exercise!

Hi Pretty People!

I am a lazy blogger  but ahn ahn, we have to be in shape and eat right, isn’t?. I have tried constantly reminding myself to follow a fixed routine but failed miserably.
I came across a nice way to stay motivated and it has really helped me. We used to have this health community in my office and they would send us health tips. When I found this one I was sooo happy.. I jumped out of my seat literally: P So I thought why not share these tips with you guys!



Here it goes!!!!

1. Start by exercising for 15 minutes everyday for a week. Do something you enjoy. Keep experimenting utill you find the exercise that motivates you, mentally and physically.

2. I find this very useful - Get a friend to exercise along with you, as this will introduce a positive type of peer pressure. :P 

3. Set goals. Be realistic about what you want, otherwise you will get de-motivated. You can have short-term goals that lead to long-term goals. Have a time frame for your goal and be specific.
Example: If you want a flat tummy, plan your exercises accordingly. Be persistent till you reach your goal. 

4. When you reach a goal, reward yourself. This will motivate you to set more goals and achieve them. But remember, rewards should not be food-related! :P

5.  If you don't have an hour, 45 minutes or even 30 minutes of exercise is better than doing nothing. If you can't work out in the morning, evening will do too. So just get back into your routine and stop making excuses

6. Write down your progress! Keep a count on the calories you burn. This will keep you motivated and let you know which areas you need to work upon.

7. Get regular. When you stick to working out regularly, there comes a point where omitting it becomes unthinkable. So make it a habit and you won't miss another day.

8. Check magazines for tips and advises from experts and try to improvise it in your schedule. 

My favorite tip:

This is what I love :P - Eye-on a fabulous dress and if it doesn't fit you, grab the opportunity to get motivated and work out those extra pounds. Just get rid of them and voila!!! there!! you can now wear and flaunt that 'Oh so lovely' dress which will look fab on you. :P



So, that's all I have to say for now!
