Hey Everyone,

How are you guys? I just got an invite from a whole bunch of lovely ladies for a party on Wednesday. I'm so excited and I'm sure we're gonna rock it! :) Okay, these days all of us might be very concerned about the mighty hair issues that we all are facing. the major one's being dandruff issues and hair fall etc.  A lot of you I must say would have been concerned. I am too :( Today let me tell you guys how to get rid of these flakes which makes you feel awkward. Well, I tried and implemented few tips which I found useful and some of them have really helped me get rid of hair fall and dandruff issues to a larger extent. As always, I like to share it with you guys!

Scalp is just like our skin or put simply, it is our skin and dandruff is the dried flakes that comes off when the skin on our head turns radically dry. So having figured that out, it is very important to provide ample amount of moisture to the scalp area just as you moisturize your skin.

Here are few things you should follow:

1. Maintain Hygiene:  By saying so, what I mean is, wash your hair at least twice a week. This cleans your scalp and promotes healthy growth of hair. Make sure you don't wash your hair wit hot water, this would damage the hair texture making it look dull and dry. Luke warm water is fine. Don't wash it every single day, this would again make the roots of your hair weak. To get rid of the flakes use a good dandruff shampoo and work it into the roots for 2-3 minutes.  You'll definitely see the difference. Because I did! :) Excessive shampooing especially using the shampoo that has the chemical lauryl sulfate can irritate your scalp leading to more scalp issues. Use the shampoo that suits your hair type.

2. Eat Healthy: This is the most common of them all. Almost a cliched thing. Eating healthy emphasizes on the fact that eat a lot of veggies especially those that contain chlorophyll that's right! eat green leafy veggies. Try to cut out fried food. I know it's damn hard but the feeling of conquering the imperfections makes you feel awed of yourself. Eat nuts, almonds are a great source of vitamin E and this is essential for the healthy growth of your hair.

3. Drink gallons of water! I guess no explanation is required here. :P

Tips to get rid of dandruff:

1. Yogurt : Apply generous amount of yogurt on the scalp. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off. Continue with the shampoo.

2. Vinegar: Infuse apple cider vinegar while shampooing. Don't let it get into your eyes :P. Rinse off. The results are great! You're left with lustrous and healthy hair. The smell of the vinegar vanishes once the hair is dry.

3. Aspirin: Crush some aspirin and add it to your shampoo. Leave it for 2-3 minutes before you rinse off.

4. Baking Soda: Use baking soda instead of shampoo! Take a table spoon of baking soda and carefully apply it on the wet scalp. Let it rest for a minute or two. Rinse off. After about two weeks, the scalp will produce natural oils as a result you'll see no dandruff!

5. Oil Massage: I love this part. I use coconut oil to massage my hair. This not only provides moisture and enhances the growth of hair but also relaxes and refreshes your senses! give it a try once in a week.

That's it for now. I found all the above useful and beneficial! feel free to ask questions.
