Hello Gorgeous
Thank you so much for going through my previous post!! This time I'll tell you guys about how to know your skin type. Most of us fail to understand the importance of knowing our skin types and end up using wrong skin care products that would not actually be beneficial. This can make the situation worse and could lead to skin issues like acne etc.
Better be late than never right?! So let's get to know how to know your skin type.
Okay, so before you go to bed wash your face with lukewarm water. Make sure you aren't using any skin care product. Also, see that you are not in any kind of artificial air conditioning, let there be normal room temperature.
Once you are through these steps, get a good night sleep.
The following day, you'll notice the kind of skin you wear!!!
Finding the skin type:
1. Check your face in the mirror the following day- if you see that your skin glistens around your forehead, nose and chin area ( also called the T-Zone )and appears slightly red-ish that means you are most likely to have "Oily Skin". Also the entire face looks a little dull due to the oily-ness.
2. If you find that your face is slightly oily around the T-Zone and has redness around the jaw line and rest of your face, then you would have a "Combination Skin" type.
3. If you feel that your skin is quite tight and see no difference at all, then congrats you have "Normal Skin".
4. If you feel that your skin is very tight and also see flakes around your forehead and jawline you definitely have "Dry or Sensitive Skin". You can also confirm on this, when you splash the water the first time in the morning, you'll feel an awkward itch OR your skin will feel the need of moisturizer in other words. Your skin will feel stretch which you will dislike.
Try to figure out what kind of skin type you have. Accordingly plan your skin care routine.
I hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask your questions here.
Take Care
