I completely forgot to ask you guys, how was the holi celebrations? I'm sure it was fantastic! I mean this is silly but I had to ask. :P Today I'm going to review about a lipstick from NYX cosmetics. It's from their round case category and I have the shade which is a little bit like n*de pink. If you guys have any plans of picking up a similar shade then here's the review. I got this lippy long time back, I thought I'll talk about it as well.
As we have plunged into spring already, all the pretty flowers make me happy! The nature simply makes us feel loved sometimes!! Anyways, let's start with the lip talk :)
Price: $ 3.99 ~ Rs. 240

Texture: The texture is really smooth. It easily glides through the lips.
Okay, so the color is n*de pink as you can see, suits olive, brown, fair-medium skin tone. Could be worn to work as the color is not too bright.
Swatch: In this pic it kinda looks like mauve but it isn't. The weather was quite gloomy outside and hence the color appears a little mauv-ish :)
What I really feel about this lipstick is even though it moisturizes the lips, after about an hour your lips could feel dry and cakey. So I suggest you guys to apply some lip balm to moisturize your lips before you apply the lipstick. Lipsticks' do not really stay for a long time on my lips and this lippy fades away very quickly. I'll have to re-apply it always. :(
Pros:
1. Pretty color.
2. Simply packaging easy to carry around.
3. Creamy texture.
4. Glides easily.
Cons:
1. lips tend to get dry, needs a good amount of moisture on lips before the application of the lipstick.
2. Can look cakey after some time.
3. Fades out quickly.
But I love the color :)

DeleteThe color is really pretty, love that! But to help you to fix on lips, you can use a cancelear on de lips, and after the lipstick! That works!
