Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss - Berry Tempting

How have you'll been? I had taken a break from blogging, as a lot of important things were going on in my life, and I wanted to concentrate a little more carefully there. But since everything is on track, I am plunging back again, this time with a lot of dedication. A lot of my friends asked me now and then, why haven't I posted anything for a very long time and that killed me. So, this new year I am back with a fresh start. Hope to make this year beautiful for you and for me.

I have some reviews coming up this week! Today I am going to review the lip gloss that I found by the aisle and it is the Milani Brilliant Shine lip gloss in berry tempting.

Packaging:

These lip glosses come with a clear case through which we can see the color that's gonna be in it and a golden lid. Very fancy in my opinion and i definitely felt like picking it just because of how pretty they looked on the shelf!!

My opinion:

The color that I picked as you can see in the picture above, is called Berry Tempting, and indeed I didn't go for a second thought if I really wanted to buy it! Lovely color and to be honest, I wanted a color like this for a very long time. So my mind didn't really have to think hard :P

So, the color is gorgeous mauve + maroon toned color very striking in the package.

It comes with a doe-tip sponge applicator. I was very excited to try it and see how it looked on my lips.

But you know what guys, I was kinda disappointed.

Texture:

1. Very sticky.

2. Feels like glue on my lips. (like plastic)

Price: $4.97 at walmart. approx. Rs. 300/-

I am listing the cons first.

Cons:

1. First off, I was not happy because the color did not really look like the color in the package :(

2. I applied two generous coat but it made my lip appear like a mirror, very glossy, may be that's why they named it "Brilliant Shine" , yet the color did not look like that in the package.

3. Felt sticky on the lips, no taste no smell though.

4. Your hair would literally stick on to it .. ewww :(

5. Not worth the price.

6. Transfers to your coffee mug.

and can you see the reflection on my lips? thats not what i want :(

My lips felt heavy for the first time lol :D. I couldn't keep it for more than 1 hour, I had to take it off.

Pros:

1. No smell(fragrance) or taste.

Final Say:

I will not buy another lip gloss from Milani's brilliant shine range. Milani is really a good brand, but this product, I am really disappointed very clearly.
