Hi Everyone!
How are you guys doing? I am dying to get some sunlight. The harsh weather conditions made me a lazy bone altogether.Duh. Anyways, I visited few places near Atlanta and relaxed a bit during the weekends. So here I'm with another makeup post. Since I love parties I thought of creating a party makeup look which is very easy yet classy!! :) Oh, BTW the YT fanfest is coming to India this time!! Yes! its gonna happen in Bandra, Mumbai powered by HP!! Go and check it out on the 1st of March.I wish I could go :(
Anyhow, Coming back to the post, why wait?! let's zoom in!
As always start by applying primer - Now, why do we have to use a primer is a question many would ask, well! I have the logic for you guys, a primer helps the eye shadow colors stay for a very long time on the eye lid and makes the colors pop! Got it?!! :) Okay, once you're done with that, start by applying a pale orange(#1 in the pic) onto the inner corners of the eyes.
Take the brightest orange(#2 in the above pic) and apply it to the outer corner and into the crease area. Blend well to remove the harsh edges and creases. After all the look should appear flawless!
To add some depth to the look take a grey-black colored eye shadow and apply it to the outer corner of the eye while carefully bringing it into the crease. Don't make it look like a smokey eye though.
After that take some gold shimmer and dab some to the inner corner just to add some glamour :P I used mine from the street wear eye shadow in groovy baby! Love it :)
Take a gel eye liner and line the lash line as well as the water line! Curl your lashes and apply loads of mascara. The gel eye liner I own is from Rimmel London in 001 black and the mascara of course is from NYX ;)
The last step obviously is to apply some brown shadow to your eyebrows and combing it out to define your eyes. Also wipe off any fall-outs and wear the lipstick of your choice. Buff off some blush to your cheeks and Voila! You're absolutely good to go for any party :D
I use the Lotus Herbals concealer shown in the pic above to conceal any flaws.
